Meet People Interested in Dining Out in your area! Discover new restaurants, enjoy delicious meals and make satisfying conversation with friendly dinner companions. We are oriented towards the western suburbs, and yes there is great food to be had without driving into Philadelphia, but I do see us scheduling some city based meetups, but the majority will be Western suburbs. This group is all about food and fun. It doesn't matter if you are single, married, or 'other'... if you like discovering new restaurants, experiencing different food and meeting new people, this group is for YOU!
If you have an idea for a restaurant please post it in the "IDEAS FOR A MEETUP" - this way other members can vote on the suggestions and I can select the most popular restaurants for the Meetups. Sometimes I might use Organizers Dictatorship Rights to pick something off the list or not necessarily the most popular, but this is YOUR group and if you add suggestions and VOTE for things you like ... it will be more democratic :-)

The Lehigh Valley Barefoot Runners and Hikers Group is for those who are looking for a healthier way to experience the outdoors. Maybe you've read "Born to Run", maybe you've gotten injured running and are looking for a better solution, or maybe you'd like to experience hiking on a whole new level -- whatever your reason, this is the place.
When running barefoot, the body's natural stride is a healthier, more natural way to run, resulting in better running efficiency and fewer injuries. We follow a lot of Daniel Lieberman's work, whose research argues that humans are natural runners, and run best with a "toe-heel-toe" stride and use just the natural sole.
Hiking barefoot is truly rewarding as you "become one" with nature. When we hike barefoot we leave minimal impact on the environment. Instead of kicking things out of our way, we learn to explore all of the sensatory experiences the outdoors have to offer. We tend to hike slower and appreciate nature's beauty along the way. Hiking without shoes truly takes the experience up a few notches.
The barefoot running and hiking community is starting to become a power to be reckoned with thanks to social media websites such as You Tube, Twitter, blogs, Facebook, and others. It's a movement that stands for more than improved running times, or less injuries. It stands for a revolution against the social norms that say you can't take off your shoes. It stands for breaking away from religiously buying the next greatest cushioned sole that never lives up to all the hype. It stands for running for running sake — the way mother nature intended. It stands for freedom of choice as much as anything.
Come join us for a some outdoor barefoot adventure!
Why Barefoot?
Dating back to ancient times, shoes were rarely if ever worn. Walking barefoot, especially hiking on uneven surfaces causes the muscles to work harder, making them stronger and at the same time reducing body fat. If allowed to develop to their natural thickness, the pads of the feet develop into natural shock absorbers, which (unlike shoes) also protects the back, knee and hip joints. A barefoot lifestyle forces the body into a more erect, better-balanced posture that aligns the skelatal system properly, and takes the pressure off muscles and joints.
Our Mission:
Our group is devoted to inspiring runners and hikers alike to run and walk barefoot for a better, healthier injury free lifestyle. Jaime has been living barefoot for the past 3 years and will be instructing and introducing members to the art of barefoot hiking. Wendy has been an avid barefoot runner for the past 2 years. She will give tips and introduce members to the art and technique of running barefoot. All activities will be done completely barefoot or wearing Vibram Five-Fingers (VFFs) ONLY. No minimalist shoes or sneakers, please.
History:
This club was first organized as the "Lehigh Valley Travel & Outdoors Group" by Natasha Serrano on May 06, 2008. It was the first and only meetup group dedicated to outdoor sports and activities. The group grew in popularity by leaps and bounds.
On July 20, 2009, we became the "Lehigh Valley Great Outdoors Club" and leadership was handed down to "Barefoot" Jaime. With membership at 700, it was the largest outdoor activities groups in the Lehigh Valley area. After 2009, group participation began to wane due to the appearance of countless of other outdoor activities groups based in the area. It was clear that things were moving toward "specialization"
December 01, 2011. We are proud to head in a bold new direction. As the "Lehigh Valley Barefoot Runners & Hikers" we are excited to introduce the Greater Lehigh Valley area and beyond to barefoot hiking and running as well as other adventures.
Welcome to the The Greater Lehigh Valley Outdoors Adventures Meetup!
Self-promotion and events that you would earn money from are prohibited.

Servicing the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas, we offer bonfires, hikes, bikes, walks, camping, beach, skiing, vollyball, festivals ...open to any outdoor activities. This group is open to all who join and to those in other groups as well. We are a Diverse Minded Collection of people. Think of my role as someone who holds the door open for those who want to be active in participating or organizing events.
This group will be relying heavily on your input to make this club a successful, growing and vibrant experience for you all! ...This group empowers all active Members by making them an Event Organizer...in fact This group insists that there be more than just one organizing events!! Post an event and they will come!

The Valley Forge Patriots Tea Party (Taxed Enough Already) group is just a small piece of a much larger movement aimed at restoring the basic free-market principles our country was built on. The Constitution, for the most part, is being ignored by our current government and we intend on working together to correct the problem.
This is a grassroots, collaborative volunteer organization made up of local people joining with every day American citizens from across the country. We have a burning desire to restore freedom by making our voices heard through peaceful demonstrations, education of how our government operates and fighting unconstitutional legislation that is passed by our congress.
Due to the growing membership of the Valley Forge Patriots we now have a Phoenixville area monthly meeting and a King of Prussia area monthly meeting. We will continue to meet the 2nd Friday of each month from 6pm 8pm in Phoenixville and the 1st Thursday of each month in King of Prussia from 6pm - 8pm. See our Meetup caldendar for locations and additional information.

Picasso created timeless masterpieces with nothing more than a stub of charcoal. Contemporary masters of photography continue to create spectacular images with nothing but a pinhole for a lens. It isn't about how much you spend on equipment.
PhotoQuest101 Meetups help you master your machine in a fun social environment and shows you how to leap from the realm of 'snapshots' to magazine and museum quality photographs.
We shoot in public spaces and we'll occasionally venture into off-limits locations in stealth mode. We take photos of everything with some particular objectives for every outing. We shoot old rusting autos and weathered barns, mushrooms, flowers, public gatherings, parades and festivals.
We make excursions to the inner city and rural parks and trails. We discover out of the way places and learn to capture photos that make you want to take a second look. We learn to engage people to pose for spontaneous portraits and we have a great time in the process.
Your digital camera is a power tool; a computer that measures light 300x/second. It sends infrared to your subject and zooms the lens for perfect focus. It calculates f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, flash synch, and more faster than you can squeeze the trigger and get a perfect picture in 1/10,000 of a second.
Already a Master Photographer? Hop on board and share your favorite techniques in a workshop or other outing. We will meet in a variety of interesting and unusual locations in order to get the photos that everyone else missed. We will meet to share and discuss our digital images. We will have talks and discussions about equipment, accessories and in-camera and post-production techniques.
Are you a photojournalist, a portraitist, commercial, free-lance, amateur, professional or fine art photographer. Enjoy a series of Photo Quest Adventures learn some simple, but powerful techniques that you can use and make magic with your images to advance your photography in many ways.
We all have computers. We all have digital cameras. The Age of New Media requests the pleasure of our images. Lehigh Valley PhotoQuest is where we learn how and why to have fun with photography and make our photos a meaningful and valuable contribution to our communities.

Values and Principles... these are items that once made this nation a great and strong nation.
People are finally realizing this and are beginning to step up and do something about it.
In short we are about restoring individual Values and Principles to the American People who will in turn restore the American government to its proper place.
The Pottstown Area Patriots and www.912PA.com are members of the 9-12 Project.
We do our best to adhere to the 9 Principles and 12 Values as stated on this page. We are a non-partisan group. We are not professional organizers, professional protesters, or paid community organizers. We are all Citizen Patriots of the United States of America. We do come from all walks of life. We are for the most part plain ordinary people that care about our country and are trying to get back to what our Founding Fathers intended it to be.
We are concerned about the same things you are concerned about, but we are all volunteers. We can only do what our free time permits. That is why it is so important to get people like yourself involved with us. We need your help and we need others like you to help us in our cause. The bigger we get the stronger we are and the more we can do.
Please come to one of our meetings and stand with us in the Pottstown Area.
What is 912 About?
Most members come to the group as fans of Glenn Beck. He has led the way by asking the tough questions and articulating a clear message. This message is based upon Seeking the Truth, Restoring the Principles of the Founding Fathers, and Preserving Law based upon our Constitution.
The Nine Principles of the 912 Movement
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not Un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
12 Values
Honesty
Reverence
Hope
Thrift
Humility
Charity
Sincerity
Moderation
Hard Work
Courage
Personal Responsibility
Friendship
What is UnitePA?
UNITEPA is a loose confederation of all member Patriot and Political groups in the state of Pennsylvania. We share members, information, goals, and resources.
You Are Not Alone, you are the Grassroots
No longer can we sit on the sidelines and watch our political leaders continue to exercise "self-preservation" rather than "representation".
Welcome all!
This meetup group is for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with other like-minded and open-hearted people. Are you spiritually open? Or have a sneaking suspicion that there's more to Life than what we can see, feel, hear, taste and smell? Whether you are religious (each major religion has a mystical core) or not -- no matter what your path, lineage, tradition or religion may be or become -- you've found your meetup home!
This group is not about leading anyone toward any one particular "truth," we just provide opportunities for members to connect, explore, and create community. We only ask you to be respectful of the culture and beliefs of other members, and to try to see the "light" within everyone.
We are always looking for new meetup ideas and people who are willing to organize them. Some of our past meetups included attending a Buddhist Sangha, a Hindu Temple, a Jewish Synagogue, a Vedantic Ashram, Native American ceremony, Tai Chi class, Yoga class. But we have also met at concerts and potlucks. This group is about connecting. Any member can suggest a meetup, and if enough people sign up for it, it will become official. So feel free to suggest more ordinary meetups for members like dinners, gatherings and game-nights.
Financial Policy
Low or no cost meetups are encouraged. However, when scheduling events that cost money or ask for donations, please clearly list costs or suggested donation.
There is no charge to join this meetup. However, Meetup.com charges for the website, and therefore we must ask anyone who wants to market a workshop, seminar or sessions to our members to contact the Organizer for information about making a financial contribution to help defray costs of this website.

The mission of the Chester County Ron Paul Revolution 2012 is to promote and defend the great american principles of individual liberty, self reliance, limited constitutional government, sound money, property rights, low taxes and whenever possible eliminating taxes, free markets and a noninterventionist foreign policy, by means of educational and political activity.
Ron Paul is and has been the leader in this struggle to regain our liberty and we will do all we can to make more people aware of his 2012 candidacy for president.
Second Sunday Book Club members are passionate about three things: people, food, and reading! We thought it would be great to bring those three things together by starting The Second Sunday Book Club. We'll meet every second Sunday at a different local Lancaster restaurant or cafe to discuss a book with new found friends.
Everyone is welcome to join; diverse opinions lead to better discussions! Book selections will range from fiction to non-fiction to memoir, or history. We'll try to choose a variety of books and everyone will get the chance to make suggestions. There is a $12.00 annual fee for Second Sunday members who attend our dinner Meetups. This fee can be remitted all at once, or at $1 for every meeting that you attend. We look forward to discussing great books and eating great food with as many people as possible, so tell your friends about the book club!
I have been in the Lehigh Valley for about a year now and I"m still looking for a good way to meet new people. Its great to have a group of girlfriends to do dinner, or a girlie movie or go for a Sunday afternoon hike. This group is for you if you're looking to meet new people and make new friends. All are welcome.... single, not single, moms or not moms, young, old and everything in between. You can never have too many friends right?
Hello Everyone,
This is not your average film-buff social group. Instead of just talking about movies we will actually make movies.
This group is for people who want to be a part of the creative process. This is an opportunity to work with other creative people on a single goal; to make a movie. People of all skill levels are welcome.
How this will work: - Focus on Short Films - One project at a time - Project selected by members - Projects targeted for contests, online competitions, film fests, etc. - Any rewards split equally - One standard meeting per month - Additional meetings for filming - Schedule around member availability - Crew positions rotate for each film - Membership voluntary; Time and equipment donations appreciated
We will touch upon all facets of film-making from production planning, casting, shooting, and more. Plus, making short films for contests will provide a real outlet for creativity. The opportunity to win an award or to receive constructive feedback for the work we do will help us grow as film-makers.
So if you want to meet-up with like mind film-makers and work on films as opposed to just watching them then feel free to join. All are welcome.

Hypnosis is very scientific. The State of Hypnosis (what
scientists call the Alpha state) is the transitional state between
the waking state (beta state) and the sleeping state (theta state).
The Alpha state is a corridor to the subconscious mind. In the
Alpha state, one's stress hormones decrease and one is in a
heightened state of suggestibility for positive change. All
hypnosis is self hypnosis.
Our meetups are at my office in Phoenixville where I explain
what hypnosis is, what one experiences in the state of hypnosis,
who can be hypnotized, and what hypnosis is used for. I dispel the
three most common myths about hypnosis, and answer questions about
hypnosis.
We have Hypnosis Sessions with topics such as: Procrastination,
Memory Retnetion, Stop Smoking, Eat Healthy, Anger Management,
Anxiety, Confidence, Sleep Better, Manage Stress, Self
Esteem.
I discuss my self hypnosis to manage stress, lose weight, and
quit smoking courses at Owen J. Roberts Adult Education in
Pottstown. There is NO CHARGE for my Meetups.
In my Self Hypnosis to Manage Stress Course you will learn to
use self hypnosis to manage stress, relax, change unwanted habits.
You will learn a progressive relaxation induction and deeper
hypnotic inductions. You will establish a personal goal and learn
to use self hypnosis to accomplish your goal. There is plenty of
practice.
Sincerely,

Being a single parent comes with unique challenges ranging from social availability to the wildly shifting lifestyle of going from parent to single and back and forth for chunks of time. Maybe you know what to do when you are with your children, but find yourself laying on the couch in your single time. Or maybe you have a rich single life, but find you crave for more social interaction for your kids instead of just alone time with them. Either way, we welcome you to join and help grow this into a great, fun-loving group of people that understand the nuances of single parenting and can help provide an outlet for the ever changing needs of those in this situation.
This group is primarily for people in like situations that are looking for things to do and people to meet both with and without their children and just generally expand their horizons. Fun times, encouragement, companionship, compassion, and growing your support & social networks is what this group is about, and it is not intended to be a dating portal. We welcome ideas for events and look forward to helping grow support and social networks for those who have the often complex lifestyle of single parenting.
Newbies to know-it-alls! All are welcome. We are a very free-form group with no agenda except to get together once a month and knit (or crochet, if you prefer.) Come say "hi!"
New to roleplaying? Looking for a group? An experienced RPG veteran looking to chat with fellow gamers? You've found the right place! So come and join our discussions, join a group or start a new one, and meet local roleplayers!
Please join us at our upcoming Local Business meetup...

FAQs:
What kinds of businesses will be represented? People from every kind of business are welcome. Farmers, retailers, restaurant owners, artists, professional service firms, manufacturers, as well as businesses that we've never heard of… the more we know about each other's local businesses, the more likely we will be to do business together and provide referrals. The idea is simple… if you don't know a local person to meet your need, someone in your network will. (Sorry, no network marketing/multi-level sales programs are allowed in this group.)
Who should attend? This group is for those who work in locally-based companies, those who would like to do business with these companies, and our friends. Friends are always welcome.
Why should we buy local? Buying locally ensures that the money you're spending cycles back through the local economy and also adds to the local tax base. If a local business can provide comparable or better service at a competitive price, from a self-serving standpoint, it makes a lot of sense to buy locally. Besides, it's fun to do business with your neighbors.

GROUP PURPOSE:
The purpose of this group will be to bring Chester County, PA a networking and social Meetup group allowing people and businesses to share ideas, discuss strategies, and talk to people about Internet/Interactive Marketing and Social Media Strategies.
Our events will bring like-minded social media advocates, bloggers, web and SEO masters, and pretty much anyone looking to network and share thoughts and ideas around Internet Marketing. We keep the Meetups informal as most people are looking to network, learn a few tips and tricks and just hang out with peers.
A few group members are considering more formalized training & workshops. Let us know if interested by emailing Contacting Us (link on left) or Tweeting @ChescoMarketing.

OR HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS.... WE UNDERSTAND YOUR LOSS....AND ....... YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US ON OUR JOURNEY OF BUILDING A NEW LIFE AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS............ AS ORGANIZER I TRULY VALUE THE PRIVACY OF OUR MEMBERS... YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SUPPLY AN EMAIL ADDRESS.. BUT NOT TO POST ONE in your profile....... YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL ONLY BE VIEWED BY ME...YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUPPLY A PHONE NUMBER (CELL IS FINE).. AGAIN ONLY VIEWED BY ME...... YOU WILL NOT BE CALLED OR EMAILED UNLESS IT IS ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR AN EVENT YOU ARE ATTENDING... WHEN YOU APPLY TO JOIN THE GROUP YOU MUST POST A CURRENT PHOTO... THIS IS SO WE WILL ALL BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE A MEMBER WHEN WE GET TOGETHER FOR A MEETUP... POSTING YOUR FULL NAME IS NOT NECESSARY... YOUR FIRST NAME AND LAST INITIAL ARE FINE....GIVING YOUR ACTUAL ADDRESS IS ALSO NOT REQUIRED ... JUST THE CITY OR TOWN WHERE YOU LIVE IS FINE..............THERE IS NO COST or Obligation to stay a Member....
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO EMAIL ME WILL BE SENT WITH YOUR WELCOME GREETING...
I decided to start this group because I am an active woman who lost my husband while in my fifties..... The loss of a spouse is a devastating & bewildering experience.. Everything in your life changes.. Even the most supportive family & friends can't fill the void the loss of your "Best Friend" has left. This is not a grief counseling group. It is a bridge to help widows and widowers socialize, make friends, be active, and go on with life.
Our Group is Family Friendly...Family Members and friends are welcome at many of our events .....Don't worry if you are outside of the area we usually participate in... it really doesn't matter...after I meet you... I will make you an organizer and you will be able to post activities in your area....THIS GROUP CAN'T BE successful UNLESS WE ALL SUGGEST ACTIVITIES, AND HOST EVENTS........ we will be posting new activities as well as joining with other meetup group's co sponsored events. The activities I participate in could be anything from volunteering, hiking, kayaking, house parties, game nights, picnics, miniature golf, pot luck dinners, dancing, concerts, going out to dinner / brunch/breakfast, going to the driving range, golf, bowling, billiards, biking, walking, day trips, car shows, vacations, cruises, shopping, visiting museums, going to movies, plays, sporting events........ & AND WHATEVER YOU SUGGEST.........we participate in many activities in Montgomery, Bucks, Berks & Chester Counties also The Lehigh Valley and occasionally Philadelphia.
YOU SHOULD JOIN THIS GROUP IF YOU ARE READY TO MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE & ARE LOOKING FOR A WAY TO BUILD A NEW SOCIAL LIFE...... JOIN TO FEEL THE SUPPORT OF OTHERS WHO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH...THE PRIORITY I HAD WHEN I JOINED MY FIRST meetup GROUP WAS TO MAKE FRIENDS. I FOUND JOINING A FLAT OUT "SINGLES" GROUP VERY INTIMIDATING & NOT SOMETHING I FELT READY TO DO. ..WE ARE NOT A DATING OR "HOOK UP" GROUP BUT IN SAYING THAT IF TWO MEMBERS mutually AGREE TO DATE THAT IS THEIR BUSINESS AND THEY WILL BE ENCOURAGE TO REMAIN IN THE GROUP AND PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES..........BEING ACTIVE AND DOING STUFF WITH FRIENDS IS A WHOLE LOT BETTER THEN SITTING HOME ALONE..... HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON....BARB
WE ALSO HAVE A SISTER MEETUP GROUP....IN CASE YOU HAVE A FRIEND YOU WOULD LIKE TO INCLUDE IN SOME OF OUR ACTIVITIES... THE OFFICIAL SISTER GROUP OF W&W... IS CALLED MAKING FRIENDS & HAVING FUN...AN ACTIVITIES GROUP FOR MEN AND WOMEN 50 PLUS....IT IS BASED IN HARLEYSVILLE...YOU CAN BELONG TO BOTH OR JUST WIDOWERS...WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU... SEE YOU SOON...BARB
PLEASE NOTE:
I owe thanks to:........Several of my Meetup Friends were involved in my decision to start this group...one was a person who lost both his father and stepfather within a two week period when he was only nine years old...the impact that left on him & his Mom.. stayed with him his entire life..... and the other person was the organizer of the first meetup group I joined...
Have you ever been backpacking? Hiking into the backcountry with all your gear on your back can be a fun and liberating experience. I am starting this group to bring local backpackers together, as well as to introduce this activity to those who have never tried it before. Besides backpacking trips, I'd like to plan day hikes, fitness and training events, gear sales, and learning opportunities.
Feel free to suggest events! I'd like the group to take on a life of its own and grow as a community, and it can only do that if its members step up and make it their own. I will often put notes on the calendar, which will let you know about local events that may interest you. These may not always be "official" Meetups at first, but can become official events if interest is shown. On the main page you may click "Suggest a New Meetup" to suggest your own events. There are 2 ways that your suggestions will become official events: Approval by the Organizer, or receiving 3 "Yes" RSVP's. This is meant to be an fair and democratic group, so I will not veto any of your events (unless there is a blatant scheduling conflict).
I'm hoping that everyone can find a way to have fun and make this group their own. Hope to see you all on the trail!
The Boring Stuff
"Event Organizer" status will be given to anyone who requests it with one prerequisite: You must have attended at least one of our previous events. "Co-Organizer" or "Assistant Organizer" roles may be granted to reliable Event Organizers, if the size and complexity of the group requires it.
Attendance will be monitored and tracked closely. Please don't RSVP "Yes" unless you actually plan on coming. There is nothing worse than waiting around for someone who isn't going to show up. I understand that things come up and plans change, but please try to remember to change your RSVP in a timely manner. After 3 "No Shows", we may be forced to remove you from the group. Changing your RSVP prior to the event will not count against you as a "No Show". To reiterate, "No Show" means that your RSVP was "Yes", but you did not attend the event.
As with most Meetups, all activities are done at your own risk. I, nor any other member of this group, will not accept responsibility for any injury suffered during any of our events. I will only condone safe behavior, and those putting themselves or others at risk may be asked to leave. There is also a ZERO TOLERANCE policy against harassment. Anyone who harasses another group member in any way will not be allowed to participate in future events. It is very important that everyone feels safe and comfortable at all times.
This group is for anyone that owns a Subaru and loves it! Or if you are just a fan of Subaru cars you are welcome as well. The group is just starting so I'm not sure where it's going to go yet. I'd like to set up weekly or bi-weekly gatherings where members can talk about their cars and show them off if they want.
I am am looking for people who love to camp and possibly hike thru PA, NJ anywhere up to VT. I am from Vermont and living in Chester County for 5 years. Since moving here I have been looking for people who like to camp, hike, and/or boating and fishing. I am open to location and suggestions.
We are a diverse group of women who practice and promote sustainable, healthful & holistic living because we are concerned about the health of the environment and how that affects the development and health of our children. Most of our moms actively promote sustainability and natural living, not only through our meetings, but by being involved in the greater community.
This group is about fostering a community oriented toward intrinsic values by offering a forum for open-minded discussions about the common goals we have for our families, our community and the future of the environment. It is not about eco-perfectionism, comparisons or judgments. Our membership is culturally and experientially diverse, spanning many shades of "green" and representing different steps toward holistic living, and individuals are encouraged to be supportive and accepting of even the smallest effort and progress!
Our Lehigh Valley group is part of an international group of EcoMoms, but we are completely autonomous in how we hold our meetings, topics, and events. Locally, we are focused on creating a supportive and sustainable parenting community among current, expecting and future mothers. Our activism is primarily non-confrontational. Instead, we directly engage with individuals, businesses, schools, and other community organizations to promote change.
While we hold a wide variety of meetings, ranging from play dates to Moms' Night Out, our most stimulating and inspiring conversations happen over coffee at our monthly Coffee Chat. These monthly evening gatherings usually occur at a local sustainable business or a member's home. Occasionally, we follow an agenda or invite a speaker, but usually our conversation is informal and guided by the concerns of the time. Spring time is a time for discussions on healthful, local eating. The cold weather and closed windows of winter generally bring about discussions of indoor air pollution. At any point, a mother may consider using cloth diapers, and we offer ideas and encouragement. Another mother may be discouraged by the rising cost of organic and healthy food, and we offer support on how to give her family the best choices possible. That is why we gather - to inspire and empower each other to healthfully nourish our families, and as a direct result, minimize our environmental impact and create a sustainable future. In the process, we forge meaningful friendships. Together, we seek to share and gain knowledge, and find and offer support for even the smallest effort and progress.
Women have been instrumental in the environmental movement from the beginning. We are often the primary caregivers, and the health of our children is in our hands. We also control up to 80% of the purchases in our homes, giving us a powerful consumer voice. But the most effective avenue we have for change is by teaching our children, the next generation, to live responsibly and sustainably through example and open-minded discussion. As both role models and a powerful market force, women in the Lehigh Valley are quietly mobilizing to foster an environmentally, socially and economically vibrant and healthy future.
We are the BerksTeaParty.org. We sponsor many events, rallies and protest in Central PA.
We were recently quoted in the New York Times. We believe that the Republic is in danger and we are part of the whole in spreading the word.
Netzwerk Central PA's goal is to bring together German-speakers of all backgrounds and levels in the area, as well as be a resource for German-speaking visitors.
We currently hold bi-monthly informal get togethers for German conversation at 7PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, as well as promote relevant events and resources in the region. Our web site hosts our calendar and provides a way to announce events and for members to communicate with each other on-line.
Pet rat owners and lovers meet to share stories, information and love about these wonderful creatures. Pet rats make excellent pets and we want to educate ourselves and others about their proper care, as well as to have socials, shows, and other fun activities. We also want to facilitate finding homes for the "recycled" rats out there who are looking for one. Anyone can join, this group is targeting SE PA (Reading, Philly, Allentown, Harrisburg, etc.) and surrounding area pet rat lovers.
WANTED: Foster homes for rescued "recycled" rats!!!
Join the happiest people in Berks County doing what we do best - having fun. Up for karaoke, hiking, commumity events, game night, or just hanging out to talk? Get into The B.A.G.
Meeting people when you're new to a community can be difficult, and Lancaster is no exception! This social group was created to help people who are new to Lancaster meet other newbies for fun and friendship. New "in spirit" people are welcome too!
Our Meet-up serves two purposes....
For those who are local, we provide opportunities to meet as a study group every other month or so, (without our horses) to share experiences, troubleshoot and expand our learning.
For those who are a little further away, we serve as a resource and reminder for upcoming Play Days and clinics so you can plan to take advantage of the Parelli Professionals without traveling to far.
The meetings, clinics and play days at Willow Brook are a great way to get inspired, advance your horsemanship, and "continue the conversation"!
Hope to See you Soon!
As the organizer of this group, I am a relatively new guitarist, having only been practicing at it for about 4-years.
Although I am certain that their are far more qualified individuals to organize a group like this than me, I thought that perhaps there are other acoustic musicians in greater Downingtown area that share an interest in getting together to jam, so here I go with the hope that more experienced musicians will join this group and help to shape it into a worthwhile excursion.
No need to be an "accomplished" musician, but skilled individuals are obviously most welcome and needed too. If you want to get together and make some music, you fit the goal of this group.
Bring your acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, dobro, banjo, resonator or whatever. If you don't play an instrument but singing is your love, by all means please join us (this organizer doesn't sing, so singers are most welcome too).
If percussion or harmonica is your passion, that's great too!
Hope you can join us!
Ok, here's the disclaimer:
The Organizers of the Downingtown Area Acoustic Jam Group reserve the right to revoke any membership to our group, who in our view compromises the safety and well being of any other member(s), without prior notice.
This group was recovered to allow local business owners the ability to meet with like minded people for the purpose of expanding their contact base. We expect to use this forum to, as Jabez would say, enlarge our territory with no pain attached (well maybe on yoga night).
We are looking for others who are looking to stretch to new heights and maybe try something they have never done before.
One thing we are not is a bunch of stuffed suits. If that is what you are looking for, keep looking. We are serious business people that know how to have a good time and enjoy the company of others. We accept creative criticism as long as you are willing to help make the changes you suggest.
We foster a positive environment and look forward to enveloping you into the fold. We can't wait to meet you!!
Welcome to Lehigh Valley Pints 'n' Purls! We meet every Monday at the Bethlehem Brew Works to drink and do fiber crafts! We're always looking to spice up our events calendar, soif you've got a great idea combining yarn and alcohol, share your choice in the Ideas thread or send me a message!
This is a group for those of you who are tired of having nothing to do. Let's get out and have fun together. If you are interested in any activity that is posted then feel free to join this group. The goal is to just DO SOMETHING FUN with fun people! This group is for families, couples, singles, single parents, anyone who likes to be in the company of fun people. Children are always welcome as long as the event is appropriate for their age. As events are posted details will be included as to what you may need to bring or if there is any cost involved. Looking forward to having fun with YOU!
"One of the traditional methods for imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project; most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can't afford it." - Ronald Reagan
The Lehigh Valley COALITION for Health Care Reform is a non-partisan grassroots coalition of concerned citizens and health care professionals committed to educating the public about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and other measures and policies impacting America's health.

If there's a health care reform topic you'd like to learn more about, please let us know.

Don't believe in God?
You are not alone!
Lancaster Freethought Society
It is an exciting time to be a nonbeliever in the U.S. There are more people coming to reason in this country than at any other time in the past. Membership in atheist organizations is growing steadily and more people are standing up for their rights to be free from religion. The formation of the LFS is in response to the desire of Lancaster area free thinkers to become a part of this growing movement. Whether you want to participate in activism and walk a picket line, be a quiet supporter helping behind the scenes, or just want to gather in a family friendly environment among like-minded individuals, there will be a place for you in LFS.
Our goals:
- Provide a social and intellectual community for freethinkers and their families.
- Enrich and empower our membership through education and activism
- Educate the public about non-theists and church-state separation
- Teach critical thinking skills and promote reason
- Defend and promote the separation of church and state
Family is important to LFS. One of the things that religion does so well is to create a social support system and a sense of community for its members. LFS wants to fill this role for nonbelievers in the Lancaster area. If you are sick in the hospital, a member might be able to visit or watch your kids while your significant other goes grocery shopping. If you lost your job, LFS might be able to assist you in locating new employment. You will have a network of friends to lean on. We want to grow as a community with you and your families.
Community involvement is another of LFS's goals. We will search for ways to help our local community and help put a positive face on atheism. Some of these activities will be "Adopt a Highway" clean-ups, food drives, an "Ask An Atheist" booth at Lancaster Central Market, and participation in local festivals. We want to dispel the public perception of atheists as immoral self-centered people and secure a positive place in the hearts and minds of the community.
Education is an important part of being a prepared organization. Each monthly meeting will include a discussion. This can be a talk on anything related to freethought, science, religion, anti-aplogetics, philosophy, or activism. Members are encouraged to write and present a talk concerning any of these subjects. Let us know if you are interested in doing so. We also plan on bringing in guest speakers from time to time to share their knowledge with us.
Events are a great way to get to know each other, learn as a group, or just have fun. Join us at our monthly meeting. Adults can come hang out with us on LFS Pub Nights. Families are welcome at picnics, play dates, pizza parties, bowling nights, and more!
Activism is sometimes needed to defend the separation of church and state in our area and nationwide. If religion tries to intertwine itself with our government, we need to speak out and make our voices heard! This may take the form of picketing in front of a government office or filing a lawsuit to protect our first amendment rights. We must be vigilant against the intrusion of religion.
I look forward to meeting you and your families and to welcome you as part of the LFS Family.

"The best way to experience another culture is through it's food." ~Andrew Zimmern, The Travel Channel You need not travel abroad to enjoy the cultures of the world when we have so much right here in the Lehigh Valley we can enjoy! It's difficult to separate food, music and culture in any ethnic group. So here, we've put them all together! Let's explore together world cultures in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. This group is open to all. Members' partners, friends and families are welcome to attend our events. "Culture is the widening of the mind and of the spirit." Jawaharlal Nehru quotes (Indian Prime Minister. 1889-1964)
Our mission is to inform our neighbors of the dangers posed to America's National Sovereignty, our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, our health and overall prosperity and the threat to our personal freedoms all caused by the Federal Government's neglect of the U.S. Constitution.
Using peaceful local activism (documentary movie screenings, book nights, sign waving and door to door campaigns) we will work to educate as many people as possible on the importance of returning the U.S. Government to a stricter adherence to the Constitution.

Lets walk the beautiful nature trails and meet new friends while getting fit.
This Meetup group is open to anyone interested in Real Estate Investing. New and experienced investors can mix and mingle with realtors, contractors, property managers, and even people who are just getting started in the real estate world. We will have different experts every month on a variety of subjects relating to Real Estate Investing.
Meetings are on the first Tuesday of every month and are currently held at the offices of The Independence Planning Group in Whitehall. This meeting will remain free as long as the meeting space is free.
All members are invited to bring business cards to promote yourself to the group.
Our group is all about sharing the benefits of fitness with other people. Totally Fit Boot Camp is an awesome adult outdoor fitness boot camp. Our camps are effective, motivational and offer a great support system for a healthy lifestyle. They are full of people who share the common goal of improving their lives through fitness. Is our boot camp a challenge? Of course! And that is what makes it so very worthwhile. Check us out at www.TotallyFitBootCamp.com This is a great way to meet new people, get healthy and fit and have a great time :)
This group is centered around the theme of being positive and surrounding ourselves with positive people who are from the local area to establish new friendships with women (ages 30's-50's) who can be married or single.
For now, I would say the Meetups will be held in:
Quakertown/Center Valley/Bethlehem/Fogelsville Pa area.
We can have small gatherings of 6 or 8 people at a time to foster friendship and support. Coffee talk, book discussions, dinner/drinks, positive activities such as creating goals for the new year and helping each other and those in the community , and other fun activities to foster positivity! Stay tuned for more information.
Looking for a better social life? New to the area? Have your friend's
moved away? This group is for adults 35 to 55, single or divorced, living in and around the Downingtown general area (or farther) who want to get out and have some fun and make new friends
.
Let's get out of the house, from behind the computer and get out and have some fun and do things!
Our small meditation group has been meeting for two years. Our focus is finding the stillness and resting in the love of God. We are a diverse group from many spiritual backgrounds and practices, but all the practices fade away in wordless contemplation to one heart, one mind, and one spirit.
Everybody is welcome from the beginner to the practiced. Come join us!
We meet twice a week.
Wednesday evening at 6pm at the Unitarian Church in Reading, and
Thursday evening at 4:30pm on North Park Road in Wyomissing.
Check our calendar for meeting places.
The Lehigh Valley Diaper Circle is for those that are interested about cloth diapers or currently use them and would like to learn more. Consider it a support group for those who want to use re-usable diapers.
There are many benefits to using re-usable diapers: health, environmental impact, cost savings, and even style!
Cloth diapers have evolved since grandma used them. There are modern day reusable diapers that are just as convenient as disposables, and much more adorable.
Please use this group to support your interest in cloth diapering by meeting others like you and learning from one another.
There will be a monthly open house to talk about cloth diapers, potty training, and even see what various diapers look like.
Attendance will not be mandatory. This is supposed to be fun and stress-free. Also feel free to e-mail me calendar requests for playdates so our little fluffy buns can play together.
The Lehigh Valley Ron Paul Meetup will work to educate the public about Ron Paul and his views of limited government, sound money and a non-interventionist foreign policy leading up to the 2012 presidential election.

By Definition: A maven is a trusted expert in a particular field,
who seeks to pass knowledge on to others.
As a skilled, intelligent, and experienced woman.... What talents, skills, or knowledge do you possess? What would you be willing to share or learn? What makes you a maven?
In the past communities relied on mavens to keep things going. Skills were bartered and shared and passed on from generation to generation. Each generation sopping up the experiences of the past like so many sponges in the sea. Times have changed. When we want to know something or get something done, these days instead of learning or relying on friends, neighbors, and relatives, we pay or we look it up online and find some half-a$$ed way of doing it. We get the idea, but the truth is, the quality and personal value is just not the same. Everything is so disposable and delegate-able. Well, I am setting up this group for women young in mind and spirit to see if we can change that. We all have something to share and that is what this group is about.
So now you are wondering what are the events going to be all about? There are several different kinds of events. Social events focus mostly on fun with a little bit of learning thrown in. Think… learning to country line dance, sing karaoke, taste wine, or shop on South Street in Phila. Then there are Learning events that are generally lectures, classes, and the like. Think… a cooking class, writing resumes workshop, how to refinish wood, canning veggies, meditation techniques, or rock climbing. Then there are Doing events that are generally roll-up your sleeves and help out when a sister Maven that needs some help. Think… de-cluttering while prepping for a yard sale, painting the kitchen, or preparing for a big family event. There are also other kinds of events like the monthly club meeting as well.
This club is a little different than other Meetups as it is a CLUB that uses Meetup to find new members and to coordinate schedules. We ask that all members commit to being actively involved, so much as they can, and to RSVP to events (out of courtesy).
When you sign up, a member should be in touch with you to welcome you to the group. She will go through a few specifics, and to answer any questions you may have. All new members are required to attend at least 3 monthly meetings within the first 4 months as part of initiation. This affords us the opportunity to get to know you as well as for you to get to know us too!!!
We are currently growing membership in the Central PA area. Most events will be close to that area and when not we try to carpool.
Please keep in mind: This group requires its members to put themselves out there and learn and share things they may never have had the confidence or time to do before. This group thrives on its authentic members. If you are that kind of person, then sign up today and we'll be happy to count you as one of our own.
Welcome to The Maven Club!

***Note: Membership requests are generally reviewed once/week.
Are you a tech geek? How about an artsy geek, food geek, music geek, or theater geek? Good ol' fashioned regular geek? Do you find yourself looking up Wikipedia articles for entertainment instead of as a quick way to shut down an interminable argument between two people? Do you fall deep within the complex banter of Cracked.com writers or ponder the wisdom of those behind XKCD and Rage Comics? Would you rather play video games from your (insert console or PC type), watch silly cartoons or movies, engage in meaningful and/or intelligent discourse, exchange books, craft God knows what, or expand your food or musical taste instead of pretending to like beer, bars, crowds, terrible pop music with caveman-like lyrics, or sports you know nothing about just to fit in?
Then meet up with us! If not for all of those things, then at least for the cookies…
I make pretty good cookies…
(Disclaimer – only those ages 21 and over can join. Sorry, but some of my cookies are laced with cognac…)
Meet fellow Dachshunds and Dachshund Owners near you! Come to a local Dachshund Meetup to talk and have your own dog show. Longhaired, Smooth or Wirehaired; miniature or full-sized, all breeds of Dachshunds and people are welcome!
The Group will meet once per month to discuss a topical business book, it's implications, and opportunities to implement ideas within each persons organization. The discussion is for business owners, executives and others interested in the pursuit of new ideas and innovation. Members will be able to nominate books for discussion.
I started the group because I have read many business books, and feel that we can all be enlighted by discussion, ideas for implementation and feedback on 'how things worked out'
Our new open playgroups combine the fun of a dog park with the safety of dog daycare. Dogs can play in our climate controlled facility and run in our fenced play yards.
Dog parents can talk with other dog people while watching their pups play with friends.
There are two separate play areas, so dogs will be divided by size and activity level.
All dogs must provide vaccination records, and must play well with others.
This group has been established for parents who have a passion for having fun together with their children and couples who enjoy 'family' even if they don't have kids yet.
Sometimes having children keeps people from doing the adventurous things they might have once done before becoming parents.
We believe that it's still possible AND healthy for our kids to continue enjoying life and doing the great things we've always loved to do.
Even if you're a married couple looking to expand your family in the near future, you're welcome to join us! We'd love to be a support to you.
Most of our families live throughout the Lehigh Valley - many near South Mountain (Emmaus, Center Valley, Allentown, Macungie, Breinigsville), so many of our events will take place in those areas.
However, don't hesitate to join if you live farther. Many of our 'bigger' events will involve some level of travel for everyone.
Our group will focus on family activities such as:
Going to museums and zoos
Day Trips to the 'big' cities
State Parks
Game Nights (Board games and Wii!)
Movie Nights / Bowling
Ice Cream Outings
Picnics
Family Dinners / Recipe Clubs
Hiking
Biking
Skiing
Skating
Sledding
Snowshoeing
Canoeing
Kayaking
Rock Climbing
Golfing
Camping
Going to Amusement Parks
Carnivals/Fairs
Weekend getaways to the mountains and ocean
Traveling and MORE!
These are just our initial ideas. There doesn't seem to be a group specific to young families or active couples who are planning a family, so we thought we'd give this a shot!
If you're someone who enjoys life's adventures and wants to continue doing so with your kids, this is the group for you!

Coworking Lehigh Valley is the meetup for independent professionals in the Lehigh Valley looking to improve their workplace experience. Whether you are working from home, a Starbucks, or from executive suites, you are probably finding something lacking. Coworking provides an opportunity to capture the independence of working from home, the flexibility and funkiness of a Starbucks, and the low overhead and shared services of executive suites while adding the key ingredient: camaraderie. This will be a place for collaboration and innovation. We are hoping to bring in professionals from a diverse array of industries, including graphic design, web development, consultants, app developers, photographers, professional writers, non-profits, and video editors.
We are building a space in the Allentown Economic Development Corporation's Bridgeworks Enterprise Center on the South Side of Allentown, PA. The space will be around 3,200 square feet with seats for around 40 concurrent coworkers. It will feature reliable wifi, conference rooms, private meeting rooms, mail service, ample parking, print/fax services, and a kitchenette. While we hope to get started with temporary space in the same building by March 31, we should be fully operational in the permanent space by June 2011.
We will host open houses and other events at the space designed to increase awareness of coworking and improve entrepreneurial opportunities.

Phoenixville Area Time Bank, now in its sixth year, is part of a world-wide social-change movement that builds community through members sharing their skills and services in exchange for Time Dollars.
For every hour you spend doing something for someone in your community, you earn one Time Dollar. Then you have a Time Dollar to spend on having someone do something for you. It's that simple. Yet it also has profound effects. Time Banks change neighborhoods and whole communities.
Each Time Dollar represents an hour of service. Typical services include: rides to the airport, gardening, pet care, household construction, food exchanges, and computer help.
We are creating community by exchanging services from driving, gardening, hair cutting and pet care to lightening the load of moving day by taking turns schlepping boxes. Come meet the people you share enthusiasm with who are making a difference and having fun doing it.
For more details visit the time bank website at www.pa-timebank.com or call 610-608-9281

Come join us and practice your pitch.
Think BIG- Business Innovation Group- Central PA Business Peer-to-Peer Discussion Groups & Business Networking.
For some time, I have been disappointed with many of the networking groups and the Lancaster Chamber's small business programs. It seems as though these groups attract bankers, real estate brokers, insurance companies, multi-level marketers and other large franchisees or organizations. 72% of the Lancaster Chamber members have 4 or fewer employees yet the programs are geared to much larger businesses and with issues that many small businesses can't relate to. On the other end of the spectrum there are groups that cater to small business, but they quickly get filled with multi-level marketers like: Shaklee, Mary Kay, and other sales reps. These and other groups force people to attend regularly until their year is fulfilled and can get quite expensive with quarterly dues and/or required readings. Besides that their programming consists of endless infomercials about what the person does with very little helpful advice to walk away for your business.
It appears that there is a need for small business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs to have a venue where they can openly discuss their challenges with others in a private setting where they can unite in spirit and in deed. A place where businesses can share innovative ideas and everyday tools to help each other to prosper.
Wouldn't it be great to have a place where you can meet with other Central, PA Entrepreneurs, CEO's, and business leaders. A place where you can discuss the challenges you face in today's business climate. Network with other businesses in a positive environment where you can swap business cards and become strategic partners to improve the business climate for all who are engaged in the group.
A place to be enlightened, encouraged, and invigorated to take the lead in the business community.
A place where you can be yourself and not be judged.
A place where you have the freedom to ask the hard questions and actually get the answers you need.
A place where the collective group unites together to support you through: collective advice, tailored, grouped or discounted services, and positive action by the group as needed or requested. i.e. reviewing legal, business or marketing documents as a group and giving feedback.
A place where other business owners, entrepreneurs, and fellow innovators gather together to discuss how you can do business better, network easier, give or get more qualified leads and basic moral support during periods of growth or business challenges.
A place where you can use your strengths for the collective good and business success of those in attendance by sharing your ideas with those in need.
A place where you can create a network of strategic business alliances with complimentary businesses, non-profits, and individuals with healthy competition not blind exclusivity.
A place where you can discuss some of the latest business trends, marketing books, and helpful business development advice from other business professionals.
A place where you can discover how to "out Innovate" your competition through a "Think Tank" like atmosphere.
Lancaster County and the surrounding regions of Reading, York, and Harrisburg will unite together centrally in Lancaster County restaurant venues every third Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm to discuss the challenges they face, discuss helpful business information, book readings, and suggest edifying ideas which are helpful to the group. The group could expand to twice a month as involvement or demand grows. There are a lot of good ideas on the table for this group. Please consider becoming part of something that could do your business and the community at large, a lot of good.
Overall, this group is designed as a support group and mixer with the goal of encouraging a positive spirit, integrity, honesty, passion, and a shameless 30 second introduction of your business to the group. We may have a special speaker on occasion to liven things up along with a book of the month for discussion and volunteer readership.
Also, there is a lot to be said about sharing our resources with each other through barter or just plain giving. Sharing business tools like contracts, non-compete agreements, employee agreements, terms and conditions agreements, marketing research, CRM tools, mailing lists, business contacts, and so on.
Topics for discussion could be: SEO Marketing That You Can Do Yourself, How to stay connected to your customer for life, Marketing That Works for Every Business, Good Accounting Advice for Your Business, What are the 8 things that make for the Perfect Website, How to Hire Wisely, How to Write Good Ad Copy, Becoming a Business Partner without signing your life away and more...

Singles of Central/Northern Chester County (28-39)-- West Chester, Phoenixville, Downingtown, Chester Springs seek to forge community and potential romantic connections in our immediate area--- and have some fun doing it!!!
This club was started to provide moms with a support network of fellow moms who are going through the same things you are. The majority of our members are SAHM's but we do have a few FT/PT and work from home moms. My goal as the organizer is to provide a plethora of exciting opportunities for both you and your little one to get up, get out, and get involved.
The majority of our meet-ups are scheduled during the day but I try to have at least one evening meet-up a week and 1-2 weekend meet-ups a month. I also try hard to notify you of other events I hear about going on in the Lehigh Valley.
Our meet-ups take place in and around the Lehigh Valley. Our members are from Allentown, Bethlehem,Hellertown, Emmaus Coopersberg, Schnecksville, Slatington, Trexlertown& Macungie.
Our calendar is very full, at least 4-6 events a week including some evening and weekends. I try my best to keep things fresh and exciting when planning the calendar. I schedule the kinds of things I wasn't seeing in other groups I was involved in.
Just listing the brief overview of things we do sound general, but it is impossible to be specific until you are viewing our calendar for yourself. We have Mom's night out, Family Nights out, never typical story times, Play dates at members homes, park play dates, arts, crafts, mommy book club, "swaps", "field trips" and so much more. And of course every event is filled with laughter and memories. Since we are a new group this fall we will have our first "moms giving back" drive to help support other moms in the LV who find themselves in a time of need.
I am always open to new ideas and suggestions. After all the members are what keep the group fresh, fun, exciting and moving forward!
NOTE:
1.)You are welcome to check-us out for one month, after which time I ask that you pay a $10.00 membership fee. If that fee is not paid you will be removed from the group. After a month you should get an idea that we are offering what you are looking for as you will be able to see the current month and next month's calendar as well as the previous months.
2.)It is required that you attend at minimum, 1 event every month. My goal is to keep our membership numbers low and this will help ensure everyone stays active in the group. The lower number also seems to help foster closer relationships and friendships among the moms.
3.)Unlike some of the other local groups it is not required that you host events, but it is strongly encouraged.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by utilizing the "contact us" tab, but please include all info I may need to get in touch with you. I am unable to respond to messages sent by non-members through Meet-up.
I look forward to meeting you and your munchkins!
Sincerely,
Laura

We offer lasting friendships for mothers and children of all ages, entertaining playdates, active outings to local parks and many other fun events.
The group includes full and part-time SAHMs as well as full and part-time working moms. Expectant moms are encouraged to join as well. Since events are on weekends as well as during the week, everyone has a chance to participate. Our moms are from all different professional and cultural backgrounds, which makes us unique and interesting. We hope you discover as much joy, pride and friendship in joining our group as we have.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the nation. This mini-tennis game is a combination of Ping-Pong, tennis and badminton, played with wood & graphite paddles and unique plastic balls. It is easy to learn, provides plenty of exercise, and is played on a court smaller than a tennis court. A competitive game for experienced players. You don't have to be strong, don't have to be quick, don't have to be athletic or good at other sports. You don't need a powerful stroke because this game is not about power but of shot placement & accuracy. The game got its name from the inventor's family dog, Pickles, who would chase after the errant balls off the court and then hide them in the bushes.

My name is Tim Card, and I am the head coach and owner of CrossFit Lancaster. I started this group to let as many people as possible know that we are here and running the best CrossFit box in the county.
If you were searching specifically for CrossFit in Lancaster, you probably already know that CrossFit delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. You are most likely aware that our specialty is not specializing. You have figured out that that combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness.
If you were searching for a group exercise program in Lancaster, this may be your first exposure to CrossFit. We focus on training all 10 traits of being physically fit. They are Endurance, stamina, flexibility, strength, accuracy, agility, balance and coordination all combined together to make you strong and fast. The important things to know about what we do is that all of our workouts of the day (WODs) are done in a group setting, with usually no more than 15 people per session, they are constantly varried, over in an hour and most importantly, they are intense, functional and FUN. What that boils down to is that you are never bored, never reach a plateau, and have the time to use the fitness you build in the box for the rest of the life you live outside of the box.
So who should join? Anyone who is ready to really get fit, who wants to stop going to the same gym, seeing the same people and still not knowing their names, and doing the same 3 sets of 10 with little or no results to show for it. CrossFit will work for anyone, but it isn't for everyone. The best way to find out if it is for you is to come to our box and try us out a few times. I hope that you'll find that we are a very welcoming and fun group of people who are ready to cheer on everyone who comes no matter what and that you'll want to come back here instead of dreading going to the gym one more time!
We run classes 4 times a day, 5:45am, 9:00am, noon and 6:30pm Monday - Friday (the only change is that Friday is at 6:00pm) and Saturdays at 10:00am. Every class is lead by a professional coach who is there to teach new movements, review older ones, go over the warm ups, skills and mobility work, and coach you and the others during the workout to make sure that you are moving correctly and pushing yourself. The cool thing is that the class is really driven by the community that is there. Knowing the people you are working out with provides an incredibly effective motivation for working that much harder, giving that much more of yourself, pushing that much farther than you would have had you been working out alone with your earbuds in at the rec center As far as pricing is concerned, as of January 1, the pricing will be $89/month for 1 session/week, $109 for 2/week, $129 for 3/week and $149 for unlimited access. However, until then the price is $100/month for unlimited access.
Yes that is more than a membership at Planet Fitness, but what you get there is only access to machines. If you want a professional trainer to help you that runs close to $50/HOUR!!! Here you get access, but more importantly expert instruction every single time you are here and a community that quite honestly kicks ass. And, oh yeah, it works.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you.
Tim Card, Owner and Head Coach

Transition Lancaster is dedicated to building community resilience in response to the challenges of peak oil, global climate change, and the financial collapse.
Church in the Park is a casual series of worship services held outdoors in the beautiful Reeves Park of Phoenixville. We welcome people from all religious backgrounds to come, listen, interact, object, or just hang out with us as we discuss some of the biggest obstacles that people encounter as they consider the claims of Christianity. Services will feature music, refreshments, activities for children, and a Q/A time after the service where guests can interact with the speaker. Church in the Park is a joint effort of Faith Church of Malvern and Vincent Baptist Church of Chester Springs.
The purposes of the group is to get together to learn a holistic approach to healing with others who have the same interest. We will get together with others who are interested in learning ways to balance and unblock the energy centers of the body (including meridians) using Kinesiology (muscle testing). We will learn to muscle test and to correct what is found in the muscle testing. As we progress in Kinesiology, we also learn to apply kinesiology and clearing techniques in order to access memories in present (and past) lives that may be affecting us.
By using kinesiology, we will begin to learn together techniques we can use to improve our physical and spiritual state in positive ways. When it comes to happiness, our spiritual states can affect the body as much as the body can affect our spiritual states! The electromagnetic system of the body can be thrown off in many ways and get in the way of spiritual goals as well as affect our ability to handle stresses in day to day life. Kinesiology (muscle testing) together with clearing techniques (applied to present and past memories) and meditation are three ways that work together to achieve natural health. We begin with Kinesiology as a first step. By unblocking what holds us back, we learn to know ourselves better so we can be healther and live a happier life.
Learning Kinesiology may take several meetings. Once we learn Kinesiology, and have had a chance to practice, depending on interest, we can talk about alternative health topics, such as what did the ancients think about past lives, what were their healing methods, what are the health impacts of GMOs, why should I care that there is flouride in my water, how do the meridians affect anyone's health? Can muscle testing techniques be applied to a pet?
Hablamos Español. (We also speak Spanish.)
Who should join
A guiding thought for this group is that all paths lead to the Good and to the Divine in you and that God would never want us to remain blocked and does not deny humans the chance to develop their native spiritual gifts. If you would like to learn more about Kinesiology and the ideas expressed here, consider joining this group. We will not be doing channeling in any form. Please do not join if you are selling belief systems, channeling services, astrological services or psychic whatever. This group does not sell anything and there is no fee or cost to attend our meetings! Just bring yourself and a friend! We use the technology found in Synergistic Kinesiology and in our meetings will use my copy of these DVDs for the Kinesiology training. If after reading this page you are interested in learning more about yourself, Kinesiology, meditation, nutrition and the possibility of past lives, then maybe this group is for you.
For more, please view our other links under the Pages and Discussions tabs. I have posted many topics that might be of interest there. Again, everything posted in this group site exists to supplement our meeting activities and our Kinesiology training. Please follow your own pace reading these materials, which I will continue to add to as time permits. If you have to choose one, the most important discussion thread is the one which explains how to get started with meditation.

Bellydance is a dance of sisterhood whether enjoyed for recreation, exercise or performance. We're a group of ladies that welcome other local moms who are looking for friends for their children and connections for themselves. Our group consists mainly of preschool age children and younger. While most of our events are geared towards the stay-at-home-moms, we do welcome working moms as long as they are able to be active in the group. Either way you would make a wonderful addition to the group. Our calendar activities include weekly daytime paydates, playground visits, mom's night outs, monthly scrapbooking, weekend and evening family events and other activities suggested by our members. Please take a look at our "about us" page (& Membership FAQ on the bottom of the about page) for any additional information or questions you may have about BAM. We look forward to meeting you at our next event.

The real world forum for the online groups Greeting Card Stationery and Giftware Gurus The vision is to have meet ups for entrepeneurs, sales, creatives etc from the industry to make connections, discuss industry issues, network and have a good time with folks sharing common interests and passions
I've started this group because after searching and searching, nothing of the kind seems to exist in this area!
Isolation is, hands down, the toughest part of being an at-home dad, so the purpose of this group is pretty simple: to give at-home dads an opportunity to get together with other dads for social interaction, to learn and share, and so our kids can play together. That's where we'll start, at least, and as the group and interest in more activities grows, we'll expand.
So. Any other stay-at-home-dads out there looking to get together?
Babywearing and co-sleeping are the norm here! Attachment Parenting is a wonderful parenting style that promotes bonding, connection and peace. Unfortunately, mainstream society can make us feel less than normal and finding fellow APers can be hard. So, let's get together, play with our kids, and support each other. Expect the alternative! Homebirth, extended breastfeeding, homeschooling and radical unschooling, anti-circ, no vax/ delayed vax, cloth diapering, EC, organic foods, you name it! Everyone is welcome-- hardcore APers and newbies....
This group is for people who love the French language and want to speak it with other Francophones, native or not. If you are a native French speaker or a student of French, of at least intermediate ability, and want to meet others to practice your French, this group is for you.
We are a group of SAHMs, WAHMs and moms who work PT who love getting together during the week to talk about our kids, give and take advice, make friends and have fun.
We participate in many activities ranging from play dates in each others' homes to mom's night out, and everything in between. We're laid back moms who just want some adult conversation, something to do and a chance to make friends.
Our calendar is FULL of amazing activities (sometimes 3/day!). We know it's difficult to attend events when babies need naps, so we offer a nice range of times and locations.
Our members live in Emmaus, Upper Milford, Macungie, Alburtis, Allentown, Southern Lehigh and Salisbury Townships and we tend to hold most of our Meetups in this area.
Please note: As a member of Club Mom, we ask that you host at least 1 activity every 2 months to keep our calendar diverse and to allow everyone to be part of the planning. These hosted activities can either be at your home or at a park where you supply snacks/drinks.
We also require attendance to at least 3 events each month. We keep our group membership low, so we need to ask these two things to make sure everyone remains active. It has proven to bring our members closer to each other!
If you have any questions, you are welcome to email our Organizer through the "contact us" tab, but please include your contact information to include name, phone number and email address. This website does not allow us to respond automatically so if you don't provide this information, we can't respond to you.
Thanks for your interest.

(I'm a bike 'junkie', & NEVER get tired of seeing ALL kinds of 'rides'...)
However, you standing a distance away, in a helmet & glasses, even with your bike, does NOT constitute a CLEAR pic, sorry;
Those are VERY nice pics to 'check out' on your profile, but NOT as your Primary pic.
Thank You for understanding;
OK, ENOUGH rules...
(I'm NOT a big rules guy anyway...lol)

Inner Source has evolved from an Energy Healing training school to a community of people who wish to share life in its fullest expression with fellow seekers. Through varied experiences, participants are invited to fall in love with the Divine that lives within us all.
Various group activities are designed for anyone interested in deepening their experience of life — who long to open to greater dimensions of spirituality and the realization that life can be a joyful journey. The programs at Inner Source have been developed to nurture healing for body, mind, and spirit through activities that invite a deeper awareness of the real Self. Such activities may include (but are not limited to) meditation, energy work, sounding, movement, lectures, group discussion, and free expression.
Individuality and uniqueness are valued, as is our Souls' longing for connection and relationship. Energetic and spiritual principles are emphasized to help participants to become aware of ways that one's energies and consciousness may have become blocked, which can at times cause disease. Numerous techniques are practiced to help free up one's energies which, in turn, can enable one to get more of what we all want from life: joy, freedom, health, creativity, and love.

We Are Change is a nonpartisan independent media organization comprised of patriot journalists working to hold those engaging in activities that do not represent the wishes of "We the People" - by asking the hard questions that the controlled mainstream media refuses to.
Furthermore, Change is a citizen based grassroots peace and social justice movement working to reveal the truth behind the events of September 11th, as well as the lies of the government and corporate elite who remain suspect in this crime.
In addition, we are here to aid the sick and dying first responders through fundraising and social outreach programs in order to promote awareness of those who suffer from physical, emotional, and psychological traumas they received in the aftermath of 9-11. Fathers and grandparents can also join, but must be approved by a vote of the club. Our club is run by a board, which consists of a President, Vice President, Membership Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Any member can run for a Board position or volunteer for a Club or Committee Chair position. Many of our members are from outside of the Lehigh Valley and join to make friends, but some are from this area and want to make connections with other local moms.
The LVSP is a group of individuals in the Lehigh Valley, PA area (and beyond) that look to share best practices on product development from customer to engineer throughout the Lehigh Valley product development community.

If you have younger children, you can bring them along, their age group just will not be the focus of our activities. Of course, they will want to meet their older siblings' new friends too!
Moms from other areas are welcome to join; however, our main focus will be meetups on the west side of town.

Introducing the Coral Circle Study Group (Wicca 101)
*Note - The Study Group itself is not affiliated with Black Forest Clan in any way!*
Not all people are interested in joining a coven, yet many still want to learn about the old ways and celebrate the seasons and the cycles with like-minded people in a safe and organized environment.
The goal of the Coral Circle Study Group is to provide a structured learning environment with zero drama and absolutely no power-trips, egos, or negativity.
The group is currently organized by Karas Myr, a knowledgeable witch with over 22 years of experience in the Craft, which is mentioned not because he is seeking recognition of the fact, but to simply let folks know that the training they will be receiving is accurate, reliable, and worthwhile.
All members of the group will be encouraged to share their knowledge, skills, and personal experience with other members of the group.
The Coral Circle Study Group will be meeting twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 7 PM until 10 PM at a local Starbucks in the Reading Area, and will perform periodic rituals at several other locations in the Berks County area on differing dates to be decided upon by the group.
About Our Coven
We are a coven within the Black Forest Clan Circle and Seminary (or BFC).
We are a teaching coven, teaching the path of the Black Forest. Our coven specializes in personalized training within a family oriented atmosphere. We know the importance of both magickal and mundane life, and we strive to reach a balance between the two.
Our coven is like a family. We hold classes in our homes, we eat together and we learn together. We have members of all different magical backgrounds and experience levels. This magickal diversity makes us unique because it allows us to learn each others past experiences as well as the way of the Black Forest. This combination allows for a depth of knowledge that cannot be found anywhere else.
Our members are always pushing themselves to their magickal limits, always striving to better ourselves. Our members are developing new ways of looking at spirituality and the craft, as well as developing new schools of magick within the craft. We are the people who have the power to bring the change to the magickal community.
We are currently at full membership level, but if you are interested in Black Forest Clan, we can very likely find a Black Forest Coven in the Pennsylvania area to which you could apply for membership. If you are interested in learning more about us, please go to our website at http://www.coralsalamander.com.
About the Black Forest Clan Tradition
Founded by author Silver RavenWolf and her husband MindWalker, the Black Forest Clan is a dual tradition: Part of its teachings are Celtic Witchcraft, and part are Germanic Witchcraft.
Specifically, BFC is linked, both by lineage and practice, to several other branches of Wiccan thought and philosophy, including the Caledonii Tradition of Druidic Wicca, Gardnerian Wicca, general Celtic Wicca, and German Witchcraft. Taken together, these meld smoothly into what is called "Euro-Witchcraft."
The Black Forest Clan was established in South Central Pennsylvania. Early Pennsylvania Dutch settlers melded their magick with that of the Native Americans they encountered, and the result is what became known as Pow-Wow. The central energy lines of our Tradition's hearthstone, as well as the Initiation of its founders, include the German/Native American magickal healing practices of Pow-Wow.
Hi, I just recently moved back to Chester County, PA (grew up here) and I'm looking for work in my field, hoping this area would show more promise in available jobs, as it historically has been.
But it's still been quite difficult finding adequate employment, mostly for the same reasons I'm sure other unemployed/underemployed persons are experiencing. I decided I wanted to see if people in this area might be interested in getting together at a public place to attempt to achieve the following:
1. Gain another job networking opportunity, but with other people who are currently unemployed/underemployed and looking for work to discuss experiences/issues we are all facing in a extremely challenged job market.
2. Depending on the level of response, group members would be able to discuss, plan, support and participate in a "reverse job fair", where the group could contact target companies in the area and invite them to a public place for the purpose of a job fair to gain employment. In a reverse job fair, the attending employers get to meet job prospects (our group) formally according to career field, skills, etc., to have on-the-spot interviews, schedule interviews, hire people, etc.
3. Important: While I would be very encouraged by any and all who can attend (including press exposure), please keep in mind the group's primary goal is to provide a discussion forum for people currently unemployed or severely underemployed.
I recently moved to Lancaster, PA from Denver, CO. I am finding that it is more difficult to socialize outside of a large urban area. I have always valued an active social life; therefore, I want to be more proactive and create more opportunities to socialize with area women.
The purpose of this group is simple. This group will provide the opportunity for women to meet and socialize with one another and possibly build lasting friendships.
This group is very relaxed and informal. Spontaneity is encouraged. If you are looking for a structured group or activity. This may not be the group for you.
I encourage all women to join and participate. If you are a woman in need of more socialization, then this is the group for you. There are no requirements regarding age, children, education, career, marital status, or specific interest. The only requirement is that all women in this group be open to socializing with a diverse group of women.
There is no attendance requirement. If you want to attend once or twice a year, that's fine.
I am very excited about and enjoy this group and hope that you'll be inspired to join and participate too.

MOMS Club stands for Moms Offering Moms Support. MOMS Club is a non profit organization with over 110,000 members worldwide! The Lower Macungie East Chapter currently has around 30 members. Our club organizes play groups, monthly activities and field trips for the children and moms that are both fun and educational, kids crafts, holiday parties and much more!
To find out if this is the chapter you belong in, please contact the International MOMS Club at MOMSClub@aol.com
Here are some of the things that make us special:
We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support!
We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them! For meetings, groups set up children's rooms with member volunteer babysitters (the children think they are at their own club!) and at activities, having children present is considered a natural part of life!
We have an established support system for our local chapters. Our volunteer Coordinators are experienced MOMS Club Moms who are ready to help you every step of the way! You can call them for advice, ideas and help! Where there are several groups in an area, we help set up luncheons and get-togethers so officers and members can network and exchange ideas, and we have special newsletters and other support just for our local chapters and members!
The MOMS Club® is a nonprofit corporation and a 501 (C) (3) publicly-supported charity registered with the IRS!
We know being an at-home mother today means making a financial sacrifice, so dues are only $20 annually.
At-home mothers of any age children are welcome! You don't have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grows!

Starting in September 2009, we will be holding our Meetups in the Rohrbach Library at Kutztown University. This group is intended for people who are interested in Pennsylvania German, also known as Pennsylvania Dutch, Pennsilfaanisch Deitsch, or simply Deitsch. You need not already be a speaker of the language.
Although we all share a common interest in the language and the culture, we are a diverse group, and participants are advised that tolerance of differing belief systems and practices is paramount to the success of the group - and of the language and culture themselves!

I have a Dachshund that meets a lot of other Dachshunds at all the parks we frequent. Boston and I thought it would be fun to get all the Doxies together for a play date and the humans could socialize and exchange info. We welcome other types of dogs to join us, too!
UPDATE- 12/2009............Boston got a baby brother. Another rescue Doxie, we named Peanut. They love each other already!
This group has been created to organize efforts to support the Fresh Air Fund in the Lower Lehigh County area.
The Fresh Air Fund was created in 1877 to allow inner-city children an opportunity to escape to the outdoors and breathe some 'fresh air.'
As the Friendly Town Chairperson for the Lower Lehigh County, I'm organizing this meetup group for those who are interested in supporting the Fresh Air Fund in some way.
Some ways you can help include:
Hosting a child in your home for 1-2 weeks during the summer
Assisting me to organize fun activities for the kids while they're in the area
Helping me recruit new host families by posting flyers, setting up at markets and vendor fairs, sharing the information with local organizations such as scouts, schools and community-based groups
Assisting with the admin work that goes along with connecting city children with their host families
There are so many great ways you can help, even if you're unable to host. But we are in desperate need of host families for 2011 and 2012. There are 1500 city children hoping to go on 'vacation' this summer, but only 500 host families willing to have them.
These kids are truly amazing. Think of the way you might change a life simply by opening your home for a short time this summer. Join us if you want to help!
Croppers can enjoy cropping at meetups/crops in my basement "Crop Cave" as well as weekend retreats in Berks County, PA. Crops and retreats are a great way to meet croppers, get ideas and share your own ideas with others. It's so much fun to crop with friends. Join us to "meet-up" with old friends and meet new friends!
I am also a Creative Memories Consultant and would love to opportunity to show you how to get started scrapbooking or show you "what's new" in the CM product line. Visit www.mycmsite.com/crissup.
It's a lifestyle. Not a program.
When you're in shape - really in shape - you look great and feel even better. It's not always easy. Which is why sometimes you need a plan, some friendly motivation, and the right combination of nutrition, training and lifestyle behaviors to help uncover the fit, firm you.
That's what Passion For Fitness is all about.
We know what it takes to become lean, healthy and strong. And with our help, you will too.
At Passion for Fitness, we start by creating a plan just for you - designed for your body type, for your nutritional needs and for your desired outcome. You'll have a complete understanding of the steps you need to take in order to successfully and permanently reach your fitness goals. Your plan will include a balance of cardiovascular exercise, nutrition and resistance training. Along the way, we'll continue to motivate you and guide you through correct form and technique to minimize injury and maximize results. All we ask in return is that you be accountable every day for your own success.
This is a lifestyle, not a quick fix program. Are you ready to be fit, thin, strong and confident for the rest of your life?
Let's go.
I am starting this group to bring together people who enjoy crafting and are looking to meet other crafters as well as learn new crafts. We welcome anyone and any craft. Meetings are held once a month. At this time meetups are held at the Ephrata Public Library which closes at 8pm. I welcome any suggestions for an alternate venue that stays open later.
The Thorndale LeTip Chapter meets weekly on Tuesday for lunch 11:30 to 1:00, to exchange qualified leads, build solid business relationships, develop strong presentation skills and become proficient networkers. Only one representative of any given profession is accepted into a chapter, and members are chosen for their occupational expertise.
This group will meet regularly to discuss cross-device HTML5 developer tools for creating both native mobile applications for iOS & Android along with HTML5 web apps. We'll include guest speakers that will talk about new advances in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 that empower web and mobile developers to accelerate their time to market and reduce the costs associated with deploying across a variety of handsets. Group Meetups will include both technical and market-oriented sessions and will likely meet on a monthly basis. We'll discuss all aspects of the evolving mobile landscape: x-platform mobile development frameworks, UI tools, JS libraries, HTML5 game development, Enterprise mobile app development, cloud services, etc Our primary objective is to educate the market on the availability of these tools and to help expand and inspire the developer base in creating mobile applications.
This group is for all you Deadheads and jamband fans who love to Shake it, Sugaree on the dance floor. If you're wondering how to get to Shakedown Street, you just gotta poke around here to find out! There are some amazing Grateful Dead tribute bands like Splintered Sunlight, Steal Your Face, Good Lovin' Jamband, and Jam Stampede, and they play all over PA. This is a great place to meet up with fellow Deadheads to dance the night away with peace-lovin' folks who celebrate the music of Jerry and the Grateful Dead! "Paradise waits..."
We are a part of the Glenn Beck's Mercury One Movement
We respond in the community in times of need without looking for help from the government.
We help revive and support the community spirit through common sense approach.
All those who feel they want to move this country forward, who believes in the need to help their fellow man, believe in Our Constitution of these United States, and Small government will find each other here.
We all need an understanding of the "Original Argument" for the constitution. So when confronted we can defend our position. Do you have the book? Did you read it?
Let us create something worthwhile. Help for the people by the people in times of crisis.
more to follow.......
We adhere to the nine and the twelve as follows:
9 Principles and 12 Values
At the origin of America, our Founding Fathers built this country on 28 powerful principles. These principles were adopted from cultures all over the world and from centuries of great thinkers. We have distilled the original 28 down to the 9 basic principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common.
9 Principles
12 Values
1. Honesty
2. Reverence
3. Hope
4. Thrift
5. Humility
6. Charity
7. Sincerity
8. Moderation
9. Hard Work
10. Courage
11. Personal Responsibility
12. Gratitude
These are the 9 Principles and the 12 Values (The 9/12) that we strive to uphold every day as we work to return to the basics outlined by our Founding Fathers in The U.S. Constitution.
This group is for those who want to truly be empowered. I'm willing to offer meet-ups and to share this amazing information with you in the hopes that you'll share what I do with others to either take a training with me or come see me to work on particular goals.
Let go of your negative emotions, limiting decisions/beliefs, and put goals in your future, which makes manifesting even easier!
One way to explain what I do is say for example a weight loss client who would come to see me not because diets don't work, but rather because the problem is with sticking to the diet. We address anything that would prevent the diet from working, and the client gets success.
By the way, linguistically, we all have diets...it's what we eat. It doesn't make sense to call a weight loss program a diet. Also, given when we lose something, we tend to find it, it doesn't make sense to call it "weight loss" either.
If you like that, imagine all the little "tricks" for all the areas of your life, and add techniques for getting the results you want.
That's what this meet-up group is all about!
Need to mingle with like minded singles? As a single person over 50 you know life is hardly over. Whether you're divorced, widowed or never married, male or female, you have probably found out on-line dating for a social life is pretty lousy :) Let's get together for some fun together, getting to know one another and enjoying life on the way.
Word of Mouth is the most cost-effective form of advertising possible. It is always nice to have warm leads and sometime we need to think outside of the box and leverage the relationships of others. With the days of the internet upon us, many sales organizations have become complacent in the fact that people sell people. Many rely on direct mail or email or internet marketing.
If referrals are an important part of your business, then lets get started.
There are no dues. We will meet every two weeks for lunch in the King of Prussia area and you will be responsible for your own lunch bill. We will learn what type of opportunities we are looking for at these lunches.
When they meet someone new who could use your products or services they hand out your card, recommend your services, and get permission for you to contact that person. It's as simple as that!
It's simple.
Welcome Lehigh Little Trekkers.
We are a diverse Parents Group that wants to "Meetup" and enjoy what nature has to offer..
The focus of our group is toddlers and preschoolers, as well as their grade school siblings (when applicable).
You don't need to be an avid hiker or walker...just have the desire to get out and HAVE FUN!
We welcome both Working and Stay at Home Parents, however your Organizers are both Stay at Home Mom's, so most activites will take place Monday through Friday during morning or early afternoon hours.
We will be catering to Northwestern part of the Lehigh Valley.
This does not exclude other areas of play,
but it will be our main focus.
Our activities include nature walks/hikes, playgrounds, scavenger hunts, crafts, storytime, playing in the creek (in the summer, of course), exploring the world around us.
We welcome suggestions for outings as you might know of a hidden treasure:)
We are down to earth...no drama...and "chill".
We are non-judgemental and want our group to come together and feel comfortable:)
Phoenixville iOS Programming Meetup Group is intended to give fellow iPhone and iPad programming enthusiasts the opportunity to interact with other like-minded folks. You should join if you have an interest in iPhone programming and live near Phoenixville, PA
We are a laid back group of moms in the East Penn/Parkland school district looking to make lasting friendships. In our group you'll not only find friendship but also support, advice and respect. Regardless if you are new to the area or a long time resident, we encourage you to submit an application if this is the kind of group you are interested in for yourself and your child(ren)! In order to maintain a close knit group we are limiting our membership.
We are the Rainmakers... We are the guys and gals that make it happen. We are the stakeholders, the entrepreneurs and marketers that bring in the dough. Without us, businesses fails... And no one makes any money.
OK, according to Meetup, a great group explains...
** Why you started the group? **
Answer: Because the LV does not a have a group dedicated to true Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, Marketers... PRODUCERS!
Yes, I know there are other Mastermind and Business Network group in the LV... But how many of the people who attend those Meetups are producing between $2 - $20 Million per year??
That's why I started the group...
I'm an Entrepreneur! I own and/or I'm partners in a number of businesses.... And all the businesses that I'm a partner in, I'm the rainmaker. I'm the person who drives the traffic to the websites, makes the phone ring, handles all the direct mail, advertising and marketing...
And they all produce $2+ mil.
To be fair to my partners, (who do the hard work) they handle all the back-end - Customer Service, Shipping and all that crap... Without them, we would not have a business.
My hat is off to the folks who have to handle that stuff.
** The Purpose of the Group? **
Answer: I wanted to see if there are any other like minded, high strung entrepreneurs, business owners, marketers, rainmakers like myself in the LV.
Plain and simple!
** Who Should Join? **
Answer: I don't want to say that you need to be doing $2 mil+ per year... But you really need to be in that range.
It would not be a benefit to the group, or yourself if you were not in that range.
You need to be able to *bring* something to the table...
.. If you're running direct mail campaigns, you need to be able share the pieces (headlines, copy, action statement) that knocked it out of park and what the ROI was...
.. If you're you're an SEO type, what strategies are you using NOW, that are crushing it.
.. If you do PPC and/or PPV, what networks, headlines, landing pages, stuff like that are you using
.. If you do CPA, again, what networks and stuff are you using to slam-it.
I hope you get the idea... I want this group to be for people who are 'DOING IT'!
For those of us out there that are 'DOING IT', it can sometimes be a little bit lonely... Many times our spouses, friends, families just don't understand what we do, or what drives us.
There really aren't a lot of people we can chat with that get us, or understand what we do.
I know...
I personally manage multiple PPC, CPA, PPV and SEO campaigns as well as the Direct Mail, Call Centers, and Small Outside Sales Group for our businesses.
So other than the high-end Mastermind group that I'm a part of, and attending a few seminars like this one: http://UltimateMarketingCruise.com - I don't run across many people I can bounce ideas of that are really in the mix.
So, if you're a true Entrepreneur...
- Not just someone who inherited a business from your parents, and you're just happy with that.
- Not someone who is ever content with 'status quo'.
- Someone who see's more opportunities in ever obstacle than most...
This group may be for you.
I'm going to bring strategies, tips, tricks, and techniques that I use day in- and day out to generate revenue... You will be required to do the same.
Together we will all gain more, produce more, give more!
Meetup meeting fee will be $10 to start... And *NO*, I'm not keeping th money!
We will donate our fees to a charity. We will discuss in the first meeting or two.
I personally think that's the problem with most of the mastermind and/or business type meetup groups in the LV... No one is charging enough.
I'm personally a member of a mastermind group that costs $17,000+ per year... we meet four time per year, somewhere in the world, and we each are responsible for our own travel and accommodations to the meetings...
And I can guarantee you, I have made many, many times my annual dues at these meeting...
Why?? Because the people who show up, show up to play full-out.
That's all for now...
If this fits your profile, I look forward to meeting you.

This group is for anyone interested in self-education - people learning what they want to know without formal schools or classrooms. Self-education is learning in its purest form. You decide what you want to learn, when you're going to learn it, and how you're going to master the subject. There are no formal teachers, no essays, no exams, no group projects, and no grades. You can start at any age, whether you're one or one-hundred. It's one of the best ways to become an interesting person and sure beats spending your weekends in front of the TV. Together we will explore topics that interest us that are educational in nature, but also a lot of fun! Why self-education you ask? Take a look at almost any great historical figure and you'll find that he or she is a product of self-education. Even if he or she was a college graduate, chances are that he or she spent years or even decades independently studying topics that were relevant to his or her life. This group is dedicated to finding learning opportunities in non-traditional ways, sometimes where you least expect them! The world is our oyster!

This group is free and open to anyone enjoying the gluten free lifestyle; for themselves or someone else. Let's get together for activities, potlucks, picknics, dining out, recipe exchanges, guest speakers and informational evenings. The activities are limited to your imagination.

I am starting this group in hopes of it becoming very successful. I attempted to find a group that was dedicated to helping animals and had no luck. My main purpose would be helping rescue shelters by supplying food, etc. I've never done anything like this before but would imagine if the right members joined here we could make a difference.
Infertility and Adoption Mama's is a new group that's just starting to meet and get organized. We are all connected by the fact that we either have started our family through infertility struggles or adoption. We're planning to be partially a support/social group and partially a play group for our kids. If this sounds like a group you'd like to be a part of, please join us!
